I know, I know. That will shock the hell out of most of you but it’s true. I slack. From time to time. Almost always. Ok, every chance I get.
Anyhoo…Aunt Joan gave me about 7 cd’s of pictures she scanned, a couple years ago to make a movie/slideshow with but somehow never got to working with them. With moving into our new house last summer and FINALLY getting around to unpacking some boxes, I found them. Now that I found them, I had to go and do something with them. We’ll I at least got started with them. You can look at some great old pictures of my Father’s side of the family from way back in the 30’s on up to just a few years ago when the Wife and I got married.
These are great pictures. There are total 1,498 pictures to look at. There may be some duplicates in there as well. I can only look at these so many times and weed out the dups. Sorry. (I haven’t posted these to the site. If you want them, email me).
I did go through and pic out some of my favorite, photogenic images from the lot. There are so, so many that are wonderful but I have picked about 20 of my favorites. This is the “favorites family photos” album. What I looked for in these shots is any number of things such as the quality of the subject, lighting, feeling of the people in the image, etc. Nothing that makes them better than another picture, just something that spoke out to me in each one. I hope you like them too.
